Helen Brand is Chief Executive of ACCA, the global body for professional accountants, a post she has held since 2008, with great distinction.

Helen has built her career within professional bodies, and has considerable experience and knowledge of the 179 markets in which ACCA currently operates. She is a founding member of the 'International Integrated Reporting Council' (IIRC) and now sits as Vice-Chair on the IIRC Board. She is also a member of the International Advisory Boards of University of Exeter Business School and Deakin University Business School.

One of the few women to lead a global professional body, Helen is a regular media commentator on the role of ethics and the delivery of public value play in business and society. In 2011, ACCA became the first international professional body to publish an integrated report on its performance and Helen remains a strong advocate of the power of wider corporate reporting. She has also driven ACCA's pioneering work in supporting the development of the profession across Asia, sub-Saharan Africa, Europe and the Middle East.

Helen holds a BA in Politics from the University of Exeter. She was awarded an OBE in June 2011 for services to accountancy, and received an honorary doctorate from the University of Exeter in 2017.

He was appointed as Chairman of the BBC in April 2017. An internationally renowned, versatile personality, with board-level experience spanning a broad range of sectors, from finance, real-estate, mining, legal services, education and to Arts. He was Chairman of Virgin Money (2011-2015), Chairman of Prudential plc (2002-2008) and Deputy Governor of the Bank of England for five years. Prior to this, he worked at Kleinwort Benson for 22 years, concluding as Chief Executive.

Sir David's experience of governance issues covers a variety of organisations in both commercial and not-for-profit sectors. He has served on the Board of the Financial Reporting Council, responsible for the Combined Code of Corporate Governance, chaired the Audit Committee of an international FTSE 100 company, Rio Tinto, and acted as Senior Independent Director and Chairman of the Finance and Audit Committee at the Royal Opera House.

He has significant experience of regulatory systems. He was Director of the Financial Services Authority, where he carried out a review for the Ministry of Justice of the regulatory framework for legal services in England and Wales, reporting to the Lord Chancellor in 2004. In 2015, he was asked by the Secretary of State for Culture, Media & Sport to review the governance and regulatory arrangements for the BBC.

In addition to his stewardship of the BBC, Sir David is Chairman of King's Cross Central Partnership – regenerating the area around King's Cross in one of London's largest redevelopment projects.

He graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. He is a Chartered Accountant, and then spent two years at Harvard Business School where he obtained an MBA. He is an Honorary Fellow of Lincoln College, Oxford, and an Honorary Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

He was appointed Knight Bachelor in the New Year Honours list in 2004.

Mr. Mishra is currently working as Secretary in Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India. He belongs to 1984 batch of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) from Uttar Pradesh. He has held all important assignments in Union and State Governments, covering Revenue, Internal Security, Vigilance, Civil Aviation, Tourism, Sports, Agriculture, taxation, Medical & Health, Mining and Urban Development. He has been Principal Secretary to the state Chief Minister for over two years. He is a B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT, Kanpur, also a MBA (International Business) from University of Western Sydney, Australia and post-graduate Diploma in Public Policy from Institute of Social Studies, The Hague. He has actively promoted Good Governance and has published policy papers on subjects related to Governance, Public Administration and Development Administration in national/international journals. He has represented Union/State Governments at various national/ international fora and participated in national workshops/ conferences. He is Visiting Faculty, at the University of Guelph, Canada. He was one of the youngest Secretaries, appointed to Government of India.

Mr. Chaudhuri is an IAS officer (West Bengal cadre) of 1985 batch. He is a scholar-administrator, with a brilliant academic th record, placed in 5 Rank in CBSE Board. He is a B.A. in Economic Honours from St. Stephen's College & M.A. (Economics) from Delhi School of Economics, where he specialized in International Trade. He has the rare distinction of being a Specialist Resource Person' in WTO, UNCTAD, ITC, World Bank, ESCAP & International Organization for Migration (IOM). He regularly writes on International Trade issues in the journal of World Trade, a prestigious publication, as also in Economic Times and Financial Express on International Trade. He has served as India's Counsellor in Permanent Mission of India to the WTO at Geneva from 2003 to 2006 where he was the Trade Ambassador of India and successfully negotiated several trade agreements for the country. Earlier, he conducted multilateral Trade Negotiations on behalf of India, as Joint Secretary, Commerce. His area of specialization is Multilateral Trade Issues relating to WTO especially Trade in Services & dealing in Rules including Anti-dumping safeguards and subsidies, regional Trading Agreements, Dispute Settlement Mechanism of the WTO, trade in goods and industrial tariffs & bilateral/regional Negotiations of RTAs, FTAs. He was also India's Chief Negotiator for India-ASEAN, India-Malaysia FTAs and India's Deputy representative for India-EU, RCEP Foreign Trade Policy and Industrial Infrastructure and Promotion.

Mr. Shanker is Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of 'Oil and Natural Gas Corporation and also the Chairman of ONGC Videsh Limited (OVL), Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) and Joint venture companies namely Mangalore SEZ Limited(MSEZ), ONGC Tripura Power Company Limited(OTPC), ONGC Petro-additions Limited(OPaL), ONGC Mangalore Petrochemicals Limited(OMPL) and Member Director in the Board of Petronet LNG Limited(PLL). He is a Petroleum Engineer from Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad and holds an MBA degree. He has studied Executive Education from IIM-Lucknow and ISB-Hyderabad. He is an industry veteran with more than three and half decades of experience in diverse E&P activities. As Chairman, ONGC Group, he successfully spearheaded the HPCL acquisition of 51% Govt. stake to improve ONGC's downstream portfolio. Under his dynamic leadership, ONGC Videsh made a successful entry overseas, with Indian consortioum acquiring 10% stake in one of Abu Dhabi's biggest offshore oil concessions (Lower Zakum). Through this acquisition, India has secured a share in the oil-rich Emirate's crude production for the first time. Under his guidance, ONGC has taken various path-breaking initiatives to strengthen the IT platforms like SCADA, ERP(ICE), EACS etc. He has conceptualized company-wide project called “DISHA” for creation of a “Paperless office” platform, which has been successfully implemented in ONGC. As CMD of ONGC, his priority is towards developing the East Coast discoveries, rejuvenating the mature fields of Western Offshore and Onshore and Improvement in Reservoir Management. Under his leadership, ONGC made the highest-ever Revenue and record profit, in the last financial year.

Mohamed Yahya Kazi is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He joined the Galadari Group, Dubai, a multinational conglomerate in 1980. He has served the company with an impressive career portfolio spanning almost 40 years. Currently, he holds the position of Group Chief Executive Officer of Galadari Brothers LLC and its Subsidiaries.

In 2010, he contributed to set up a Professional Accounting firm that provides a range of services, that assists organizations to adhere to strict financial discipline.

He successfully brought about strategic changes in Finance and Strategic management, with his approach of "kaleidoscope thinking”, to achieve organizational goals within the Corporate Governance framework. He globally represents Galadari Brothers, holding Directorships in various overseas entities connected to Galadari Group in UAE, Australia, United Kingdom, India and Sri Lanka.

Mr. Kwa Chong Seng was appointed Chairman of the Board in 2016.

He is a multi-faceted personality. He also serves as the Chairman of Singapore Technologies Engineering and is a member of the Advisory Committee of Dymon Asia Capital. Besides, he is a non-executive director of Sea town Holdings, as also in the public sector as Deputy Chairman of the Public Service Commission and Board Member of the Defence Science and Technology Agency.

Mr. Kwa was the Deputy Chairman of Olam International from 2014, and was promoted to Chairman in 2015. In addition to his business interests, he is a very distinguished diplomat, also Singapore's Non-Resident Ambassador to Denmark. He was also Non-Resident Ambassador to Sri Lanka, prior to assuming charge of Denmark. He has served as Chairman of the Singapore Business Federation's South Asia Business Group and Chairman Business India, Singapore. He is a Board member, ASEAN India Business Council. He is also Chairman Emeritus, TiE Singapore and ex-Board member of Tie Global. He actively takes a keen interest in the angel investment space across various sectors. Sir Richard is Chairman of Rothschild India, having been appointed to the position in May 2015.

He previously served as British High Commissioner to India between 2007 and 2011, with great distinction. Sir Richard served as British Ambassador to Afghanistan from 2012 until 2015, overseeing the transformation of the United Kingdom's presence from one which was largely military (comprising 10,000 troops) to an increasingly civilian role. He also contributed to the achievement of a peaceful, orderly and broadly democratic transition from President Karzai to his successor - something unique in the history of Afghanistan.

During his stint as British High Commissioner to India, from 2007 to 2011, he was responsible for strengthening economic ties between the two countries, with India becoming one of the top 4 foreign investors in the UK, and UK became the largest foreign investor in India.

Sir Richard has held a number of other important positions during his career, including Chief Operating Officer at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (2003-2007) and British Ambassador to Bulgaria (1998-2001).

Mrs. Rajashree Birla spearheads the Aditya Birla Centre for Community Initiatives and Rural Development, the Group's apex body responsible for development projects. She oversees the Group's social and welfare driven work across 40 companies. She is Director on the Board of all the major Aditya Birla Group of Companies, both in India and overseas.

She is a humanitarian par excellence, and compassion is her only currency. Born in Bikaner and graduated from the Loretto College at Kolkata.

He also holds several additional prestigious positions like the co-Chair of National Council on PSEs; Chairman of National Council, ASSOCHAM; Chairman of BRICCS (CCI); Sr. Vice President of Indian Buildings Congress
etc.

He pioneered the concept of redevelopment of public land, based on a unique financial model, which emphasizes on 'zero financial burden' on the Exchequer. The Govt. has entrusted mega redevelopment schemes, for over Rs.40,000 crore to NBCC.

Mr. Kuljit Singh Popli is the Chairman & Managing Director of IREDA which is a pioneering developmental financial institution dedicated to financing renewable energy and energy efficiency in India.

Hon'ble Mr. Justice Jayant M. Patel, born on 04.08.1956 at Veraval, Gujarat, passed B.Com. and LL.B. He had a first class educational career and was also awarded National Merit Scholarship, while studying LL.B.

He entered Bar in August, 1979, Rajkot, and shifted to Gujarat High Court in 1985.

He was appointed as Central Govt. Standing Counsel, Senior Counsel to Railways, Govt. of India, Counsel for the Income Tax Department and Standing Counsel for SAFEMA (Ministry of Finance), Govt. of India.

He studied the working in the system of administration of justice in various countries and visited High Courts and Supreme Courts in USA, England, France, Singapore, Germany and Canada etc.,

He was elevated as Judge in the High Court of Gujarat in 2001 and was appointed as the Acting Chief Justice of High Court of Gujarat in 2015. Later, he was Sworn-in as Judge of Karnataka High Court, Bengaluru in 2016.

He was appointed as Executive Chairman of Karnataka State Legal Services Authority. He was also the President of Arbitration Law Centre, Bengaluru, Executive Chairman, Indian Law Institute, Karnataka and appointed as Executive Chairperson of Regional Office of International Centre For Alternative Dispute Resolution (ICADR) with effect from 20.06.2017.

Mr. Peter Seah Lim Huat, Chairman, DBS Group Holdings & DBS Bank joined the Board of Directors of DBS Group Holdings and DBS Bank in November, 2009. He assumed the role of Chairman in 2010.

Last month, he was conferred the Institute of Directors (IOD) India's, prestigious Distinguished Fellowship for 2017. Mr. Alok Sharma MP, Hon'ble Minister of State for Housing and Planning, Dept. for Communities and Local Government, Govt. of U.K. grew up in Earley and went to school in Reading.

Elected in 2010, with one of the largest swings to the Conservatives, he has served as a member of the Commons Treasury & Commons Science and Technology select committees, a Parliamentary Private Secretary at the Treasury and as a Conservative Party Vice Chairman. He was appointed in 2016 as the Prime Minister's Infrastructure Envoy to India and Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth. He was a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand Deloitte, and then worked for 16 years in banking, where he held senior roles in Stockholm and Frankfurt, including serving as a member of the Corporate Finance Global Management Committee, Nikko Securities. He successfully campaigned to deliver government investment in local infrastructure, including improvements at Reading, Tilehurst, Theale, Pangbourne and Reading West stations and the extension of Crossrail to Reading.

He has worked with local school and parent groups, like All Saints Junior School, The Wren School and Purley Primary School, to deliver extra government funding for progressive schools.

He has worked with local campaign groups to fight unsustainable development on green spaces He is committed to campaigning against any unsustainable development all across Reading.

He is a supporter of expanding local businesses. He has supported entities such as Tesco Distribution Centre to deliver new jobs and has organised local business export seminars, helped deliver reductions in business rates for local businesses and for faster broadband.

Ahmed Bin Sulayem has played a key role in positioning DMCC as a major international commodities hub and introduced a number of value-added products and services - DMCC Free Zone - the UAE's largest Free Zone, the Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE), the only diamond exchange in the Middle East, the DMCC Tea Centre which has contributed to the UAE becoming the world's largest re-exporter of tea, DMCC Trade flow, a central Registry of ownership for commodities stored in Dubai, stimulating commodity trade, as well as gold refineries, gold and diamond vaults, the UAE gold bullion coins and the Visions of Dubai Gold Souvenir Coins.

He joined DMCC in 2001 as a Director. Today, he is the Executive Chairman as well as the Director of Human Resources, Director of Dubai Shariah Asset Management (DSAM) and Dubai Commodity Asset Management (DCAM). He has played a leading role in reviving Dubai's traditional pearls industry by launching the Dubai Pearl Exchange and conceptualized the idea behind Almas Tower, the tallest commercial building in the Middle East.

Dr. Aruna Sharma is a graduate in Science and holds a Ph.D in Development Economics. During her brilliant career in the lAS, she has specialized in the fields of Finance, Industrial Promotion, Communications & I.T. Her work on 'Resource Convergence' has been published by UNDP.

Before joining the Ministry of Steel, she was Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, where her major contribution was the development of GeM Portal and NSP Scholarship Portal of 16 Departments and 38 schemes of the Govt of India.

Ashish K. Chauhan is the MD & CEO of BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange), and was one of the founders of India's National Stock Exchange ("NSE"). He is best known as the 'father of modern financial derivatives' in India, for his work at NSE. He has been instrumental in setting up India's first fully automated screen based trading system, first commercial satellite communications network, and has recently successfully completed the IPO of BSE.

He was appointed as CEO, BSE in 2012. Lieutenant General Sunil Kumar Gadeock, AVSM was commissioned into the Brigade of the Guards, Indian Army on 11 June, 1977. He is an alumnus of National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla and Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. He is Master of Science (Defence Studies), Master of Philosophy and also Diploma in Senior Level Defence Management.

During his distinguished career in the Army, he has held command, staff and instructional appointments, which included command of 12 GUARDS and Commander 23 (I) Armoured Brigade. He was selected for a three year Staff tenure as Logistics Advisor to Botswana Defence Force. He had the distinction to raise Military Operations 3B, Military Operations Directorate in Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defence (Army). He served in two armoured divisions in coveted appointments. He served as Brigadier Quartermaster (Brig Q), in a Corps HQ in North Eastern Sector. Dr. S. K. Nanda is a civil servant of Gujarat Cadre. A post graduate in Political Science, he holds a Doctorate in Philosophy, and in Economics, in addition to being a post graduate in Law – in short, a scholar of rare learning.

Dr. Nanda has served the State with distinction, presiding over a cross section of departments before being elevated as Principal Secretary of the Home Department.

His stints as Collector in districts of Dangs, Vadodara, Panchmahals, Banaskantha and Junagadh are notable for his achievements. He is the member of Government of Dubai's Executive Council, Dubai's Economic Council, Dubai Supreme Fiscal Committee, Chairman of the Dubai Infrastructure Committee, Chairman of Empower, Chairman of Dubai Nuclear Committee, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, member of the Higher Committee of the Emirates National Grid, Vice Chairman of Dubal Holding ,Vice Chairman of Emirates Global Aluminum (EGA), Chairman of the Dubai Global Energy Forum and Chairman of Emirates Energy Award and Founder and Chairman of WETEX – the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition among other representations.

He is admitted as Distinguished Fellow of IOD for the year 2015.

Dr. S. S. Kshatriya, IAS belongs to the 1980 batch of Indian Administrative Service. Has held various important assignments in Maharashtra and served Government of India in the Ministries of Steel, Power & Home Affairs. Under State Government, he has held crucial assignments like Vice President, MHADA, Commissioner of Sales Tax, General Manager, BEST, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Municipal Commissioner of Mumbai. He was the Chairman of the Committee for classification of Commodities, where he drafted the law for Value Added Tax  system. As Principal Secretary of Housing Department, he wrote the Housing Policy for the State focusing on affordable housing. He prepared the policy for renewal of leases and introduced the Suvarna Jayanti Rajaswa Abhiyan, which has received tremendous public response. He has served both State Govt. and Govt. of India with great distinction.
